Have you ever tried corn flakes (the plain unsweetened ones)? I use them to
dredge my chicken or calamari before frying them. THAT’S crunchy, man!
Compared to the saltines/salty crackers crumbs, the leftovers are less
soggy.
What do you do with the oil after you are done frying? I know you have also
fried other things in other episodes, and I always have this question. I
would love to fry but I have no idea what to do with the oil afterwards, I
don’t really want to just throw it out.
How are you not fat? Explain.
can i substitute the buttermilk for something non-dairy? there is a way to
make soy buttermilk?
@Mary, you can cooked these in the oven. Just do the same steps she but
instead of frying them bake them. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper,
spray lightly with non stick cooking spray. Bake for 15-20 minutes on
350…they turn out golden brown and tender.
can you use chicken breasts cut up into strips or finger shapes ??

Those look great laur! I made some chicken tenders recently that I dredged
in crushed Doritos and those were ABSOLUTELY amazing! The taste of the
Doritos just brought them over the edge! You should definitely try it with
Doritos.

May I suggest you place the cooked chicken fingers on a wire rack instead
of paper towels? I have done this with Ritz crackers and it’s awesome.
