Sorry to be a party pooper but I’m sure that recipe won’t taste the same as
Nandos for a number of reasons. Firstly Nandos steam their chickens
beforehand to get them very moist. You’ve just roasted a chicken with some
marinade. They also grill not oven cook their chickens so you’d be missing
    that ‘char-grilled’ taste.

Nandos is utter garbage, just like all the other chain places like F&B’s
and TGI’s. They’re one step up from McDonalds and KFC for people who don’t
    know any better.

I thought a marinade is something that you let soak into food over time,
not a glaze. I’m not trying to correct anyone I’m just confused.

Nandos sauce in supermarket is not the same as the basting and marinade
    they use at the outlets

I would say, thanks for sharing this recipe. On my side, marinate the
chicken first with Garlic, salt & Wild Herb Nandos sauce + if you want it
hotter, add Hot / Medium Nandos Chili Sauce. Leave for about 1 – 2 hours to
Marinate. The same sauce will be used as your basting.

The trick is your heat & the chicken must be bast on every turn. Some
flames would be nice but not too much, As you want the chicken to be cook
    inside.

Try it guys, you wont even want to go to Nandos and queue to place an
    order. :-)

Do it in the grill ( in smaller pieces ) or on the BBQ. The taste will
    double.
This dish needs the smokey chargrilledness < -- Real word I personally would never cook chicken in the oven , unless its a roast. BBQ>Grill>Griddle pan>Frying pan>Oven
