Can you substitute the wine with anything to make it work as well?

How do I know if my pan is safe for the oven? Would it depend on the
handle?
Could I make this in an electric skillet?or could I transfer chicken and
sauce to a deep baking dish. I don’t have pans that can go in oven so was
curious if it could be done.
See, I wouldn’t cook with Pinot Grigio, too me, its a little too sweet. My
favorite white to cook with is *Sauvignon Blanc*. Its inexpensive, neutral
in flavor, stays well in the fridge, & you can even buy those little 4 pack
bottles from the supermarket. Most CA brands are very good enough, in fact,
I use Gallo. Although because it lacks the citrus of a Pinot Grigio, I’d
add some fresh lemon to this dish.
Laura would this be a good dish to make for the inlaws?
