1 lb. thin sliced chicken breasts or tenders
1 package brown rice fusilli pasta
1 package Basiltops Pesto Perfecto
Grated Parmesan Cheese
Olive oil
Seasoning mix for chicken
Salt + Pepper to taste

1. Start boiling water for pasta.
2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and chicken seasoning on one side.
3. In a hot pan with a little olive oil, place chicken seasoning side down.
4. Season the other side of the chicken while in the pan.
5.  Add pasta to the boiling water. Cook for 7-8 minutes until al dente.
6. Continue cooking chicken, flipping once halfway through, until both sides are golden brown. (TIP: Cook chicken 8-10 minutes per side on medium-high heat)
7. Drain pasta, put it back in the pot and set aside.
8. Tear or cut chicken into smaller pieces and mix in with the cooked pasta.
9. Add entire package of pesto into the pot and combine everything thoroughly.
10. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.

All the hate comments are fucking stupid. Just shows how jealous people
are. Ingrid is fit and gorgeous and an awesome YouTuber. Her recipes are
quick and easy and healthier than most of the crap people eat. Shut up if
you’re a hater because you’re ruining the fun of watching!!!

Why did I watch this video late at night when I’m hungry?! Ingrid I’m a
pesto freak so I love this recipe, actually thinking about trying it
tonight! It reminds me of a meal I got over at naples in downtown disney
but instead of chicken it had shrimp. Love your videos ingrid, everything
you do is so well put together. Perfection 🙂

  3. Fun InParadise January 1, 2015 at 6:13 pm

It’s painful to watch her ‘cook’.

  4. Cat M January 1, 2015 at 6:13 pm

Ingrid sucks. I’m so tired of her trying to act like she’s “healthy.”

  5. Rae Bunny January 1, 2015 at 6:13 pm

Wow, groundbreaking recipe Ingrid! You boiled noodles, cooked chicken, and
put on some pesto that you bought from a store! You truly are a real chef,
you deserve to be on food network with these kinds of recipes.

+missglamorazzi Sometimes I dont feel like cooking either so I have been
slow cooking chicken in the crock pot with seasoning and chicken broth.
Then I break it up into pieces and I have chicken for the week for pastas
or chicken salad or other recipes. Great idea for us busy girls :)

Why do people put spices in those pinch bowls? Why not just take the
container and shake it on the food? You waste half the spices, from
    putting your hands in there!

I don´t get why Ingrid didn´t make her own pesto – she talks about how she
wants to know what is in the food she eats… if she made the pesto herself
she would know what is in it!!
Pesto only takes a few minutes to make… check out BENJIMANTV recipe for

    Pesto Recipe Ingredients

    1. 2 1/2 Cups of Fresh Basil
    2. 1 Cup of Parmesan
    3. 1/4 Cup of Pine Nuts
    4. 2-3 Cloves of Garlic
    5. 1 Lemon
    6. Lemon Zest (skin of lemon)
    7. 3.4 Cup Olive Oil
    8. Dash of Cayenne
    9. Salt and Pepper to Taste

Mix all ingredients in the processor except the olive oil. Then add the
olive oil gradually. Save a little bit of parmesan cheese to mix together
at the end into your Pesto.
