Thank you thank you thank you for using thigh meat!! So many people act as
though white meat was the only part of the bird worth eating…and I’ve
    always believed just the opposite!

I’m not a chef but i have made this before. Breasts i agree are shit for
butter chicken you need that bit of fat for flavour. Personally i would
have pre – marinated the chicken in ginger garlic paste with tikka colour
funegrek and other spices you can use canned but sun rippened soft red
tomotoes skinned and pulped are good. Sorry but that dish looked really
average you know it was a shithouse old boy. That lemon cheesecake was
    fucking top though yeah.

I have had this before at an Indian restaurant and it was very good but way
too hot for me to enjoy….would it change it too much if I didn’t use but
maybe half of the curry powder? I admit ….I’m a weenie when it comes to
    spicy food….I can’t eat it! ={

Awesome version of butter chicken. Though the main ingredient for butter
chicken is cashew nuts, so instead of the sour cream and one can of the
tomato soup, u could have used one cup of cashew nut paste. Im sure this
version tastes great too. Happy cooking.

The family came for dinner over the weekend – had Butter Chicken and Rice
followed by Strawberry Cheesecake, both OPC of course 🙂 Everyone loved
them, even the grandkids who can be funny about curries! So thanks, David.
This is the best Butter Chicken. I had some almond paste in the pantry too
so added a tablespoonful, though it didn’t need it. Yum!

  22. darkhumphrey January 14, 2015 at 1:58 pm

question. does any indian spices such as curry or cumin make you smell? i
love curry and like cumin also but afraid they make me smell a bit when I
workout to sweat. it’s not most fascinating smell to have around when
talking to girls at they gym. thank you
